Our client modern international manufacturing company is looking for a Tax and Compliance financier (part-time) with strong VAT, CIT and annual process knowledge. If you are professional, self-assured individual with positive approach - join our international team!

Location - remote work with regular monthly visits to the factory (southwestern Lithuania).

Description

  • The Tax and Compliance Financier will be responsible for ensuring companys accounting compliance with local procedures and adherence to Lithuanian legal requirements. This role will involve close collaboration with the Group Finance Director of Accounting & Compliance for Region East;
  • Implementing and ensuring that companys accounting policies are followed in compliance with LT legislation and companys group guidelines;
  • Analyzing VAT purchase and sales records monthly plus CMR collecting, correction declarations submitting ;
  • Submit VAT declarations (SAF file) and VAT UE and other files if demand;
  • Submit all other statistics reports;
  • Monitoring VAT regulations and changes and informing PL team about them training PL team;
  • Preparing Fixed assets documents (for archiving purposes) and support with settlement open investment on time;
  • Supporting PL Accounting team if needed (Postings GL);
  • Preparing task for audit and cooperating with auditor;
  • Preparing yearly CIT calculation and submit demanded files;
  • Preparing Financial statements and other documents which must be submitted yearly.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or masters degree in economics, Finance, Taxes or other relevant field;
  • Experience working in a similar industry in a record-to-report role;
  • Strong understanding and experience with VAT, CIT, annual year processes;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) (nice to have);
  • Strong self-awareness and relationship-building skills;
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive results;
  • Able to prioritize and deliver in a complex environment;
  • Fluent in Lithuanian; English at least B2 level;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
