Description

Ensure compliance with Lithuanian, Estonian, and Latvian bookkeeping, VAT, company taxes, and other regulations;
Prepare financial materials for the annual audit and collaborate with auditors;
Oversee and submit required financial reports, including:
Annual reports to the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (LT)
Monthly reports to the Lithuanian Tax Office, SODRA and Statistics Department
Estonia's part of the Lithuanian result to Estonian authorities
Half-year and annual reports to the company’s headquarters
Manage payroll processes for Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia through payroll agencies, including salary postings;
Process and reconcile customer and supplier invoices;
Execute and oversee company payments.

Requirements

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
Previous successful experience in accounting, preferably within an international company;
Strong knowledge of Lithuanian, Estonian, and Latvian financial and tax regulations;
Experience in group reporting, reconciliations, and payroll accounting (via payroll agencies);
Solid understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and EU VAT rules;
Proficiency in SAP and experience working in an international corporate environment;
English (B2 level or higher) for communication with headquarters;
Analytical mindset, curious and investigative approach, and ability to work independently;
Willingness to suggest new ideas and drive improvements in accounting processes.
